Dynamic elevation graph - You will be able to zoom in and move along the graph and see your elevation and duration since you start recording your trip. You can also view all your recorded trips elevation over time. This is a great way if you want to see how the terrain change as you travel along your route.

Want to share your current location easily? How can you tell the recovery company or roadside assist where you are? In case of emergency, you may want to easily describe a location to the emergency responder.
Simply press the coordinate at the top of the screen, the details of the location will appear which include Latitude, Longitude, UTM, What3Words and a direct share link on Dirt Map. You can share to anyone via Facebook, WhatsApp, Email, Messenger, pretty much any app you use.
We have also introduce a bulk import option to easily import hundreds of waypoints, POI, camp sites etc in a single click.

Want to export your memorable trips for backing up or browse it in other desktop application, now you can export your trip to GPX files.

Improved the import GPX file feature to allow Dirt Map app to open automatically when your GPX file is selected from an external source (e.g. email)

Thanks to one of our users who identified a bug with the recent release which may cause a recorded trip (track) disappeared when toggle the map mode. This is now fixed.
We've also improved the way you plot a route. When the route plotting mode is enabled, you can simply tap any where on the map to centre your map to that location. This will save you a lot of time moving the map manually.

Hello! We have fixed a small bug which may show incorrect trip markers when toggling between trips visibility. Is that all? No. we have also improved the speed and performance of the app. Making sure a fast and smooth scrolling/moving of the map is very important for providing a great user experience. In addition, we added a new feature to toggle the map between default, night mode and satellite mode.

G'day! It's nearly weekend :) We have prepared some small updates for you to optimise the your location tracking when you are recording your trips. We know sometimes you may want to use other apps (Google Map) for navigation while still using Dirt Map for recording your track. Previously some users may find that the location was lost for some reasons on Dirt Map. This is due to the pause location by the device. So, we have made some optimisation to tell your phone not to pause the location tracking even the app is running in the background. Makes sense?

G'day! We completely rewrote the map rendering logic and making it much much faster, and heaps of other updates and improvement including managing your Markers (waypoint), Routes and Trips (tracks) in folders....
All folders are now shared.. meaning if you create a folder (e.g. Tassie Trip), you can assign markers, routes and/or trips to this folder..... you can easily toggle it on map to be visible/invisible by tapping the "eye" button....
Sync process was drastically improved......
If you have not downloaded Dirt Map app, don't miss out! I guarantee you will not regret it!

We have drastically improved how you manage your trips/tracks.
- You will be easily edit the trip details directly from "My Trips".
- You can toggle the trip visibility to hide/show on map simply by tapping the eye icon.
- Managing trip folder is a lot simpler now.

- You can easily organise your trips into different folders. You can create, edit, rename or delete your folders.

- Import routes using GPX files.
You can easily import routes from other devices and export them to GPX files. It supports multiple files.
The import function is very simple. Simply save your GPX files to your iCloud/Download folder on your device, and go to Import GPX file from Dirt Map app. Yes, simply 3 clicks and you are done. You can upload multiple files in a single upload.
- Introducing Trip Dashboard.
You can now view your real-time statistic when recording your trip including elevation details, speed and distance. This gives you a great snapshot how you are performing if you are hiking/biking.
